Seashells Phu Quoc Hotel & Spa

The Yangdong Night Market is nearby, but the variety isn't very diverse, and there are many people constantly trying to sell things, so it's quite crowded. The hotel has decent facilities and the location is excellent, making it a worthwhile trip for the whole family!

This hotel has obvious strengths: a great location, clean rooms, and stunning views from the sea view rooms! However, the negatives shouldn't be overlooked. The staff's quality and attitude need improvement; their communication wasn't professional or attentive. We didn't use the hotel's complimentary spa or foot massage. We were busy with our schedules from 9am to 10pm, and reservations were almost always unavailable! Many shows on Phu Quoc Island are in the evening, and we didn't get back to the hotel until after 10pm. It's best to extend the spa session to after 12pm; otherwise, it's completely unavailable! Breakfast was overcrowded, and there weren't enough seats. We had to wander around twice before the staff showed us to our tables. Later, we asked them directly, which is more proactive. We had an 8am flight and booked a 5:30pm shuttle, but when we checked out that morning, they told us it would take 5-10 minutes to check in. Then, after we checked in, they told us the shuttle had already left, leaving us waiting for half an hour before we had to call a taxi. The lobby didn't have air conditioning during that time. The counter staff had a constantly sour face, and the lobby was stuffy and hot, which made for a rather unpleasant departure! But the hotel was kind enough to provide lunch boxes for takeaway breakfast. In conclusion, this hotel is okay, but I don't think the staff is up to par with five-star standards. It's worth comparing!
